About Us

The MS in Biostatistics provides rigorous, fast-paced training to prepare students for careers as statistical analysts and scientists.  Our unique, one-year program is offered through the Program in Public Health at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine’s Center for Education in Health Sciences. Coursework can be completed in two years for half-time students. All students complete intensive formal training in biostatistics, epidemiology and statistical programming and engage in a collaborative research project involving real-world data in the form of a thesis.

We are entering a world where datasets are no longer sitting isolated on a desktop but are instead making an active, felt impact in clinical research.
