Founders' Day Convocation

Every fall, we welcome the incoming class of M1 medical students at Founders’ Day Convocation. In the week leading up to convocation, students attend a series of events, including a welcome barbeque and a dinner with current faculty. During the Founders’ Day ceremony, friends and family look on as students are addressed by Dean Neilson and a keynote speaker, receive their white coats, and recite the Declaration of Geneva. A reception takes place after the ceremony for all attendees.
