Biophysiological Modeling Core

PIs: Neelesh Patankar, PhD; Wejun Kou, PhD

The Biophysiologic Modeling Core is a centralized analysis program and database that provides high-level physiological data to be coupled with clinical data through the Biorepository and a mechanism to develop and refine in-silico mathematical models using in-vivo human data.

The core will enable three primary activities:

  • fundamental research of organ/system physiology
  • patient specific analysis and diagnostics, and
  • design and development of next generation diagnostic tools (e.g. manometry).
