Current Issues in LGBTQ Health featuring CONNECT Paper Competition Winners

Please join us for our upcoming Current Issues in LGBTQ Health lecture with CONNECT Paper Competition Winners: Dylan Felt, Sandra Isano, Isabel Sturla.

The talk will be held from 12:00 1:30pm (CT) on Thursday, August 27 in the Stonewall Conference Room at 625 N Michigan Avenue, Suite 1400, Chicago IL. Lunch will be provided. The talk will be livestreamed via BlueJeans.

About the speakers:

Dylan Felt, B.A., M.P.H. student, (she/her and they/them) is a Research Project Coordinator with the Evaluation, Data Integration, and Technical Assistance (EDIT) Research Program at Northwestern University. She earned her BA in Psychology from Brown University, and is currently pursuing her Masters in Public Health at Northwestern University in the evenings. A non-binary transgender woman, their work emphasizes community activism and leadership in public health, and the importance of using research as a political tool to advance health equity among marginalized populations.

Isabel Sturla, B.A., (she/her and they/them) is an M1 at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Born in Argentina to an Argentine father and American mother, she moved to the United States at six years old and grew up in Evanston, her mother s hometown. Isabel graduated from Northwestern University in 2017 with a Bachelor of the Arts, double majoring in Biological Sciences and Psychology with a minor in Spanish. In her free time, she loves to cook, go biking down Chicago s lakeshore path, and play with her beloved cat Pluto.
