Partnerships with industry provide access to the most advanced instruments and techniques, often years ahead of routine clinical use in the community. Discoveries and techniques contributed by our faculty are often applied in broader practice throughout the world, to the benefit of additional patients and their families. The knowledge derived from our ongoing research promises much future benefit in alleviating the impact of debilitating neurologic illness and injury for scores of individual patients, their families and society at large.
