The Garden as Gallery and Stage
Electronic color photo collage
The photo collage documents the collaboration between Cathy Bruni Norris, painter, and Doug Wood, garden designer. The photo was taken at the most recent installation of the project during the "Around the Coyote Festival 2005." I collaborated with eight visual artists and installed their work in the 8,000 square feet of gardens that I designed in Wicker Park. Approximately 4,000 people visited the exhibit, which spanned 300 feet along the 1400 block of Damen Avenue.
