Medium: Oil color and lacquer on wood

Artist's comments: I graduated from medical school but enjoy painting in my spare time. This work combines both oil painting skill and a unique lacquer painting technique. Dragons are the wisest and most auspicious of creatures according to ancient Chinese tradition. They bring the rainfall and tour the earth during the new year season, bringing good luck to people. The painting depicts vividly the dragon full of vigor.
