Watercolor painting
This watercolor of an abandoned house in the tidewater salt marshes was painted from a black-and-white photograph that I made while exploring the islands and fishing villages of the eastern shore of Maryland. An emeritus professor of medicine, I have studied for four years at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
