Clinical Activities

Urologic Oncology Achievements in 2020: No.2 in NIH funding for urologic research ($6.7 million), 833 new patients scheduled for genitourinary oncology care, $4 million in philanthropic support, 246 peer-reviewed publications, 868 genitourinary oncology inpatient surgeries, 22 systemwide slinical trials for genitourinary cancers (trials that accepted patients in FY19 and FY20)

The institute consists of expert physicians and scientists who are dedicated to making Northwestern the world’s leader in diagnosing, advancing research breakthroughs and creating revolutionary treatments for urological cancers.

The Polsky Urologic Cancer Institute will become a multidisciplinary access point for cancer care, including surgery, chemo-, radio- and immunotherapy as well as a resource for genetic counseling, nutritional guidance and lifestyle management.”
