Basic Scientist Inflammation Research, Department of Pathology
The Department of Pathology and The Center for Human Immunobiology (CHI) at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seek a full time tenure track Investigator at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Responsibilities include establishing a dynamic, independently funded research program in the area of Inflammation research, while working synergistically and collaboratively with other investigators in the Department of Pathology and CHI, which have tremendous strengths in the areas of
immunology and inflammation. Successful applicants are expected to participate in medical and graduate student teaching, as well other departmental and center academic activities. High quality laboratory space, core services, shared departmental equipment and excellent start up support are provided.
Qualified candidates will hold a PhD, MD or MD/PhD and be scientists or physician scientists with outstanding research accomplishments and with a record of success in competing for independent research funding. Rank and remuneration are determined by qualifications and experience.
