2020 Mechthild Esser Nemmers Prize in Medical Science

Mechthild Esser Nemmers Prize in Medical Science is awarded to a physician-scientist whose body of research exhibits outstanding achievement in medical science as demonstrated by works of lasting significance. This biennial prize of $200,000 is one of the five Nemmers Prizes administered by Northwestern University.

Entries for the 2020 Mechthild Esser Nemmers Prize in Medical Science are being accepted through Nov. 1, 2019.

The prize is made possible by a generous endowment to Northwestern by Erwin and Frederic Esser Nemmers. The Nemmers Prize in Medical Science was founded in honor of their mother, Mechthild Esser Nemmers.
