The Center for Translational Metabolism and Health, within the Institute for Public Health and Medicine at Feinberg School of Medicine, unites Northwestern University scientists from across disciplines to investigate the pathogenesis of complex biomedical problems in order to improve the lives of individual patients and to enhance public health. We are focused on building an innovative, world-class program of translational biomedical research and training early-career scientists and physician-scientists.

Epidemiologic studies of cardiovascular disease, with a focus on health behaviors including diet, physical activity and sleep and in populations defined by race/ethnicity, age and gender.
