| Research Project Each resident must design and carry out a research project with the assistance of a faculty mentor. This research project is the basis for a presentation as a PGY-4 at the department's Annual Residents' Research Seminar. The purpose of this project is to provide an opportunity to formulate a hypothesis, put forth an appropriate study design with power analysis (if necessary), execute the study, and analyze the data.
