Welcome to the Biostatistics Collaboration Center (BCC) website. Since being established in 2004, the BCC has contributed our expertise in biostatistical science, programming and data management to the high-quality, innovative medical research done by Northwestern investigators that ultimately results in funded grants, peer-reviewed publications, and presentations at professional meetings. Our center’s scope includes Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, and is academically housed in the Department of Preventive Medicine.
The BCC’s faculty and staff work with investigators in all aspects of their research projects, from concept and study design to data acquisition, data analysis, and final scientific reporting.
Master’s-level statistical analysts and programmers work with the faculty biostatistician to provide programming and data management support ranging from one-time consultations to long-term collaborations.
We also offer workshops and seminars on research and statistical methods.
BCC statisticians have relationships with major units, including Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (NUCATS), the Institute for Public Health and Medicine (IPHAM), the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer’s Disease Center, the Multidisciplinary Clinical Research Center in Rheumatology, as well as individual Departments and Divisions. We are always interested in expanding and starting new relationships, including one with you.
We are eager to help you meet the statistical needs of your research. Please contact me or anyone on the Biostatistics Collaboration Center team, or complete a request for consultation, for more information on collaborating, educational opportunities, or any of our services.
