Dr Tranchina has joined the faculty after over 20 years of experience caring for patients with complex medical illnesses. She practiced the full scope of family medicine, from newborns to geriatrics including obstetrics, with a special interest in women's health. She practiced the full scope of family medicine, from newborns to geriatrics including obstetrics, with a special interest in women's health. Her practice style is caring and collaborative, empowering patients to maximize their self-care, with the end goal of prevention and early detection of illness. She is skilled at behavior modification with a focus on nutrition, exercise prescription and smoking cessation. She also has extensive experience in starting up and managing the business aspects of an active practice.
