The laboratory is located in the Coon Research Facility at Evanston Hospital in Evanston, Illinois. Dr. Hirsch is the director of the Division of Obstetrics in the Department of Ob/Gyn at ENH.

Dr. Hirsch is also a member of the Center for Reproductive Science, Northwestern University.

Dr. Hirsch is also a faculty mentor for the Women’s Reproductive Health Research Career Development Center (WRHR program), Department of OB/Gyn, Feinberg School of Medicine, and the Interdepartmental Biological Sciences (IBiS) program at the graduate school, Northwestern University.  

The following are our research interests;

• Infection and inflammation

• Preterm labor

• Toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling

• Gene expression analysis
