Postdoctoral Researcher
Santanu did his graduate research studying cellular stress responses using the fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe as model organism in the laboratory of Prof. Dhrubajyoti Chattopadhyay in the Dept. of Biochemistry, University of Calcutta, India. After completing his PhD degree in cell and molecular biology in September 2004, he joined Dr. Debu Chakravarti’s lab as a postdoctoral researcher. Currently, he is engaged in investigating physiological roles of THAP domain proteins in human.

Brandon Parker, PhD
Graduate Student
Brandon received his BS degree from the University of Florida in 1998. In 2002 he enrolled in the Biomedical Graduate Studies program at the University of Pennsylvania where he is currently a PhD candidate in pharmacological sciences. His thesis research in Dr. Chakravarti's laboratory focuses primarily on the transcriptional regulatory potential of THAP domain family proteins and their roles in cellular and physiological processes.
