Work-in-Progress Sessions

Our WIP sessions take place twice a month on Tuesdays from 3-4 p.m.CT. These sessions provide members with an opportunity to present research ideas and projects, receive feedback from peers and senior leaders and engage in collaborative discussion.

The first session of each month will be jointly hosted by the Center for Health Services & Outcomes Research (CHSOR) and the Center for Dissemination and Implementation Science (CDIS) in a hybrid format.

If you would like to present at one of our sessions, please email Carolyn Schafer at carolyn.schafer@northwestern.edu or Norrina Allen at norinna-allen@northwestern.edu.

Disability Working Group

The Disability Working Group supports cross-disciplinary mentorship and collaboration to advance accessibility in research and equity in health and healthcare. Members include a community of scholars engaged across Northwestern University, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and Shirley Ryan AbilityLab.

The group discusses and shares inclusive research practices and promotes disability as more than an outcome

Email Carol Haywood to get involved at carol.haywood@northwestern.edu.
