Welcome to the Center for Epidemiology & Population Health (CEPH). We invite all those who are interested in learning more about epidemiology and population health as well as those who are already involved to join us at CEPH. Our mission is to provide a home for researchers across disciplines including epidemiology, informatics, engineering, medicine, statistics, policy and public health in order to catalyze a new generation of population health research that will translate to improvement in health for all. This network of interdisciplinary scientists is what makes CEPH extraordinary.

In this era of rapidly expanding data sources, huge sample sizes and sophisticated computational methods, strong epidemiologic study design plays an increasingly crucial role in research. Our three research programs provide expertise in leveraging exciting new data sources, linking diverse data to build a broader understanding of health and to expanding our understanding of the social determinants of health in novel new ways. CEPH is dedicated to rigorously applying state-of-the art study designs and developing novel new ways of addressing critical questions in clinical research and public health. In addition, CEPH fosters large-scale population health research drawing upon the expertise and interests of our members and supported by the infrastructure needed to launch such initiatives.

We hope that you will join us at CEPH. Please reach out to us with any questions.
