Current Research

Current projects in our laboratory focus on understanding and characterizing circadian disorders such as Advanced and Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome; using exercise as an intervention to improve sleep and circadian functioning in the elderly; looking at how different wavelengths of light affect melatonin; charting the body’s response to melatonin administration at different times of day; and evaluating medication regimens for Restless Leg Syndrome.
