Zee, MD, PhD - Professor of Neurology, Fellowship Director - Bio Stephen Sheldon, DO - Professor of Pediatrics - Bio Ramadevi Gourineni, MD - Assistant Professor of Neurology - Bio Brandon Lu, MD - Instructor of Medicine and Neurology - Bio Lisa Wolfe, MD - Assistant Professor of Medicine Pradip Sethi, MD - Assistant Professor of Neurology The sleep fellowship will enable the trainee to acquire an advanced body of knowledge and skills in the performance of clinical neurophysiological studies, evaluation and the management of sleep disorders in adults and children. In addition, the training program will provide opportunity for the trainee to assume a role in teaching and research in sleep medicine. These include: a. acquisition of basic and advanced knowledge of the neurobiology of sleep and circadian rhythms; b. acquisition of techniques and skills involved in the performance of polysomnographic recordings, positive airway pressure titration, non-invasive nocturnal ventilation; c. development of competency in the evaluation and management of patients with all types of sleep disorders; d. development of competency in analysis and interpretation of comprehensive polysomnography and positive airway titration; e. appreciation of the role and rigors of scientific investigation in advancement of knowledge of neurology and sleep medicine.
