Designed by Feinberg staff for Feinberg staff, Feinberg Forward is a full-day, onsite learning and networking retreat, focused on staff development, learning and leadership for administrative staff in Feinberg departments, institutes and centers.

Harry M. Jansen Kraemer, Jr. is an executive partner with Madison Dearborn Partners, a private equity firm based in Chicago, Illinois and a Clinical Professor of Leadership at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. He was named a Kellogg School Professor of the Year. Harry is the author of three bestselling leadership books: From Values to Action: The Four Principles of Values-Based Leadership and Becoming The Best: Build a World-Class Organization Through Values-Based Leadership, and Your 168: Finding Purpose & Satisfaction in a Values-based Life.

He is the former chairman and chief executive officer of Baxter International Inc., a $15 billion global healthcare company.

Learn about Microsoft 365’s essential apps to boost your team’s productivity. Get an inside look at how departments can utilize SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Planner and To-Do to enhance collaboration and improve efficiency of their teams, with seamless integration across the Microsoft 365 environment including everyday business applications such as Outlook, Calendar, Excel, and Word. From set-up to implementation, there will be takeaways for users at any skill level.

OS-SOS: Process Improvement in Research Administration

We’ll discuss a new project to bring together crowd-sourced institutional knowledge to address specific problems (and opportunities!) in research administration, and how this model of knowledge-sharing can help central offices and departments work better together and improve how we onboard and train research administrators across the University.
