Sitting Biomechanics Laboratory

The Sitting Biomechanics lab is directed by Drs. Mohsen Makhsous and Fang Lin. Located in the Department of Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences, this lab actively contributes to help people with disabilities lead the most independent and fulfilling lives possible. The Sitting Biomechanics lab emphasizes Research, Development and Teaching of rehabilitation related biomechanics, with the focus being on both clinical prevention/treatment and basic sciences.

Occupational Safety and Health
Occupational Health research focuses on sitting related problems, mainly low back disorders. This part of research has been supported by NIOSH and our industrial partners.
