PhD in Neuroscience with a specialization in Movement and Rehabilitation Science
PhD level graduate study is available in a newly established specialization in Movement and Rehabilitation Science within the Northwestern University Interdepartmental Neuroscience (NUIN) umbrella program. The degree specialty comprises faculty and resources from several units including NUIN, the Department of Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences, the Department of Physiology, the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and other affiliated units across the Chicago and Evanston campuses of Northwestern. The laboratories affiliated with MRS represent a broad array of research interests for fundamental and clinically applied experimental and modeling studies focused on movement and its rehabilitation. All admitted NUIN students specializing in Movement and Rehabilitation Science are given a graduate student fellowship that covers tuition costs and a stipend for living.
