The goal of the Certificate Program in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety is to provide a structured curriculum that presents the emerging content and skills healthcare professionals need to become effective healthcare quality and patient safety thinkers and practitioners.
The 12-month Certificate Program is designed for the learner who wants to acquire in-depth knowledge of these fields without committing to the more intensive 18-month Master's Program. The Certificate Program consists of the four core courses in the Master’s Program in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety curriculum, starting with an introductory 2-week immersion program in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety provided in the summer quarter. The immersion program begins with a reading period, followed by two weeks of classroom based instruction. |
