LEARN (Leveraging Existing assessments of Risk Now) For Pediatric Patient Safety

The LEARN Project has adapted risk assessment methodologies from other high risk industries and developed several new methods to apply to leverage the results of existing risk assessments. The LEARN Reviews increase the understanding of specific healthcare process and system risks through a meta-analysis of risk assessments to identify generic risks, common causes, systematic vulnerabilities and emblematic scenarios to direct safety interventions, solutions and redesign.   This project was funded by Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality P20 HS017114-01
