Patrick Lank, MD


Medical School:  Albert Einstein

Undergraduate:  Yale University

Patrick Lank comes to Northwestern from New York, where he was very active in his medical school. Pat was chosen as a peer educator for anatomy during his second year and helped teach the first year students. As a fourth year student, he was chosen to spend a month in Saitama, Japan as part of an all-expense-paid exchange program. He was actively involved early in medical school with a summer program for high school and college students. He joined with another student giving lectures on cardiovascular anatomy and physiology in order to introduce them to medicine. Patrick also spent a great deal of time during the first three years of medical school volunteering at a free clinic in the South Bronx. His research in medical school focused on the efficacy of different forms of mitral valve surgeries with cadaveric pig hearts. Patrick is an active singer and has performed in musicals and operas. He also enjoys tennis and running
