Manish Asaravala, MD Medical School:  Northwestern University Undergraduate:  University of California Berkeley

Manish Asaravala is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha as well as the recipient of the J. Reuben and Carolyn Budd Scholarship. We first got to know Manish while he was a summer research fellow with the Buehler Center on Aging where he looked at risk factors for medication non-compliance amongst geriatric patients in the ED. Manish served as the VP for the EM Interest Group which sponsored the Midwest MEDWARS, an annual wilderness challenge for students interested in EM. He also served as the President and VA Program Coordinator for the Patient Perspectives Course. While at UC Berkeley he was named to Phi Beta Kappa and was a Berkeley Regents Scholar. His interests include international travel, photography, and tennis.
