Perilunate Dislocation

The above image demonstrates the normal curvature of an AP view of the wrist. The curved lines indicate normal carpal arcs.  Compare these normal arcs to the disrupted arcs in perilunate dislocation. Any deviation of the smooth arcs should alert the physician to a possible dislocation. Of note, this xray shows a scaphoid fracture.
