Adriana Segura graduated Summa Cum Laude in kinesiology from Pennsylvania State University, where she was the recipient of the Bunton-Waller Fellowship. Her research on ambulation assist devices in the Penn State Biomechanics Laboratory led to an honors thesis, a poster presentation, and a first author publication in the Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Adriana was awarded the Amromin Scholarship to attend the Feinberg School of Medicine. She has volunteered for Salud Latina/Latino Health and served on the Board of NU Alliance for International Development. Through her work with NU-AID, Adriana assisted on medical missions to Nicaragua and Jamaica. She participated in several public health fairs promoting wellness and health education throughout Chicago. Additionally, she has devoted her time to Camp Wildcat and the Mount Nittany Medical Center. Adriana is a member of the AMA and the Chicago Medical Society.
