Lauren Gallagher is a member of the Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society. She studied psychology at Boston College, where she continues to have an active leadership role in alumni activities. Prior to medical school, Lauren earned a Master of Arts in medical sciences from Boston University. At Loyola, she completed an honors program in Bioethics & Professionalism in Medicine and presented a capstone project on organ donation. She was awarded the Richard A. Perritt Scholarship for academic excellence, leadership and service. Lauren has participated in a remarkable number of research and volunteer activities, and was first author of a paper published in Seminars in Interventional Radiology. She was appointed Midwest Representative of the Medical Student Council for AAEM and served as Vice President of the Medical Student Union. She enjoys singing, cooking, and cheering for the Boston Red Sox.
