Lexie Dore, MD

Lexie Dore earned honors in chemistry from the University of Illinois, graduating with highest distinction. She was a summer research intern at Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania, where she contributed to an injury prevention trial that resulted in a 2007 publication. Throughout medical school, she coordinated a student-run health clinic serving uninsured populations throughout Chicago. Lexie also volunteered her time as Vice President of the Diabetes Prevention and Management Group. She was selected to participate in the NIH-funded Pritzker Summer Research Program, where she designed and conducted a study of specialty care utilization by primary care physicians on the south side of Chicago. Lexie has contributed to several poster and oral presentations, many focusing on the care of underserved populations. Her interests include cooking, water skiing, and camping.
