Molly Weiner is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, with a degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. At Colorado, Molly was a Student Cancer Research Fellow sponsored by the National Cancer Institute. Additional research experiences include work in the fields of diabetes and craniofacial abnormalities, each resulting in either abstract presentation or publication of her results. Molly worked as a phlebotomist at Children’s Memorial Hospital (Chicago) and a research assistant in cardiology at the University of Chicago before entering medical school. While at Rush, Molly volunteered with the BUDDIES program, Community Health Clinic, and Casa Juan Diego tutoring program. She has broad international travel interests, and is an accomplished athlete - notable for completion of a Holland 100-mile bike tour (twice), climbing 14,000 ft summits in Colorado as a backcountry backpacker, as well as completion of a culinary cuisine course in Thailand, and a medical mission to Costa Rica.
