Brian Patterson is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha and completed a combined MD/MPH program at Northwestern University. While pursuing his undergraduate degree in Bioengineering at Penn State, Brian was named an Honors Thesis Undergraduate Researcher. His work resulted in two Biomedical Engineering Society presentations and a publication in Microscopy Research and Technique. Brian has excelled in his MD/MPH program, while participating in research with the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Iowa and the Department of Emergency Medicine at Northwestern. He served on the Admissions Committee for the MPH program at Northwestern and coordinated the 2006 and 2007 Feinberg productions of variety show, “In Vivo.” He was awarded the SAEM Medical Student Excellence Award by the Department of Emergency Medicine at Northwestern.
