Robert Lockwood double majored in Mathematics and Russian at Vanderbilt University, where he was the Captain and Most Valuable Player of the Varsity Lacrosse Team. After college he served as the Director of the Russian Refugee Teen Program at the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, as well as a lacrosse coach for Evanston Township High School. He developed an adventure-based, experiential wellness and personal development program in Columbia, guiding travel excursions through the Amazon. He was the Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer for Wilderness Bay Wellness Foundation before earning his graduate degree in Social Service Administration at University of Chicago. Rob was on the Board of Directors for The Ted Fund and was a Disaster Services Intern with the American Red Cross. While in medical school, Rob completed a Graduate Certificate Program in Health Policy & Administration and participated in two research projects.
