Shera Teitge is a Distinguished Scholar of Claremont McKenna College. She was twice named to the SCIAC Women’s Soccer All Conference Team, twice named the Most Valuable Player for her Women’s Soccer Team, and was inducted in the Claremont McKenna Student Athlete Wall of Fame. Shera has participated in numerous research projects at institutions across the nation, resulting in several poster presentations and two publications. Notably, she spent two years as a Life Science Research Associate in neuroscience at the Stanford University School of Medicine. Shera volunteered as an educator with a Health Promotion and Injury Prevention Program, as a staff member of the Eliza Shirley House & Medical Clinic women’s shelter, and worked as a science tutor in the Claremont Public School system.
