Andrew Foster was the recipient of the Dalton/Zannoni Undergraduate Research Fellowship for his work on the use of amphetamines in a Parkinsonian Model. He has conducted research with the International Federation of Medical Students in Barcelona, Spain, studying PCR and DNA isolation sequencing techniques. Andrew has a keen interest in emergency ultrasound (EUS) and has participated in the Honors Ultrasound Program at Ohio State University. His EUS background augmented research in the examination of tonometry vs. ultrasound for the assessment of optic nerve sheath diameter in patients with pseudotumor cerebri. Andrew has volunteered in an occupational health clinic and a physicians’ free clinic. He has also served as an orientation support group leader.
