Sarah McGann

Medical School:  Northwestern
Undergrad:  Rollins College (International Relations)

Sarah enjoyed a successful career in banking for several years after college, focusing on mergers and acquisitions for the LaSalle Banking Network. She brought a wealth of leadership experience with her to Northwestern and applied her skills to a variety of interesting projects. Sarah served as the 2005 Class Coordinator for Northwestern’s Community Health Clinic, was the Housing Coordinator for the interview program at Feinberg, and was an active member and Speaker Chair for our local American Medical Women’s Association chapter. Sarah is very giving of herself and her time, having volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and the Patient’s Perspective Program at Children’s Memorial Hospital. Her research in cardiology, endocrinology and pathology culminated in a second author publication in the American Journal of Cardiology in 2004. Fluent in Spanish, she was the recipient of the Hewlett Foundation and Sullivan Award to study in Guatemala.
