| Colleen Hickey Medical School: Northwestern Undergrad: Colgate University and University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia
| Colleen is a member of AOA. Colleen worked as a clinical research assistant at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center prior to medical school. Her work in the area of gynecologic oncology resulted in a publication and a presentation. During Medical School Colleen was a member of the Interview Committee for the Class of 2009. She worked as a volunteer for the Uptown clinic which serves pediatric patients without health insurance, and the Community Health Clinic where she also helped teach 1st and 2nd year students history and physical skills along with presentations. Colleen has served as a tutor for the Chicago Youth Program serving the Cabrini Green Housing Development. During Medical School she has worked as a research assistant at Children’s Memorial on project involving smoking cessation. When not working it is clear that Colleen enjoys traveling and she has already visited Italy, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Greece, Spain, France, and Switzerland |
