abstracts accepted - National conference of wilderness medicine 2009June 12, 2009The National Conference on Wilderness Medicine is geared toward health care providers who treat the unique needs of patients in wilderness environments. It also focuses on health problems that providers might see in patients who have recently returned from remote environments. His presentation, "Prospective multi-center assessment of interobserver agreement for radiologist interpretation of 64-channel CT angiography for pulmonary embolism" was selected based on reviews of his abstract, manuscript and presentation at the meeting. Dr. Courtney will be recognized at the 2010 SAEM Business meeting to be held in Phoenix, Arizona later next year.
