Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) welcomed its newest members at a ceremony December 2 hosted by Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. The medical honor society inductees included undergraduate students, resident physicians, faculty members and alumni— each selected based on academic achievements and significant contributions to medicine.

The newly launched Center for Education in Medicine and the accompanying Academy of Medical Educators are two very important entities that will showcase our education excellence at the Feinberg School of Medicine. While the Center will be more focused on external collaboration, bringing the best and brightest minds together to advance the boundaries of medical education, the Academy will be focused internally, supporting the teaching mission and the faculty who chart the course for new and innovative education methods. The new Core Teaching Faculty is an example of this reinforced support.
