FRIDAY, April 28

9:00–11:30 am | Northwestern on the Forefront: Primary Care in the 21st Century and Confronting Disease on a Global Scale
A 2.5-hour Continuing Medical Education (CME) course on primary care and global health.**

9:00–10:00 am | Campus Tours
Revisit spots you may know from your student days and others that may be new to you. All tours are led by staff or faculty with in-depth knowledge of the site. Each tour begins at 9:00 am.

10:00–11:30 am | City Walking Tour (NEW)
Enjoy a walking tour through the neighborhoods around Feinberg. From the medical school campus, we will visit Streeterville, the Magnificent Mile and the Gold Coast to learn about their histories, from the first permanent settlement in 1799 to the present. This tour will be led by fellow alumnus Joseph Gugenheim, ‘72 MD.

10:00–11:45 am | Hospital Tours
These tours will provide, in addition to the general tour of each site, a more in-depth look at a specific area of clinical care in each hospital.

12:00–1:30 pm | Mentoring/Networking Lunch with Feinberg Students and Fellow Alumni
Want to be a mentor? Eager to network with fellow alumni who share your professional interests? If so, this lunch is for you. Enjoy a relaxed buffet lunch with our medical students and share your insights and hear others’ perspectives on the medical profession and career paths (those taken and those you are curious about) during this structured but informal session.

1:45–2:45 pm | Conversations with the Dean
Join Eric G. Neilson, MD, vice president for medical affairs and Lewis Landsberg Dean, to hear updates on the medical school and Dean Neilson’s vision for the future. There will be ample opportunity for questions and answers.

Enjoy high tea at the Drake Hotel with finger sandwiches, fruit breads, scones and French pastries. We welcome Northwestern Medicine’s women in medicine (MD, nursing, researchers, physical therapy and physician assistant alumnae) to this interactive session.

5:30–8:00 pm | Celebrate in Chicago! An All Alumni Welcome, Awards Presentation and Reunion Class Salute
Dress up or dress down (your choice!), but don’t miss this official social kick-off to Alumni Weekend. Meet up with your classmates and gather for the Distinguished Alumni Award presentation and salute to milestone reunion classes. Enjoy cocktails and great conversation, passed hors d’oeuvres, a dinner and dessert buffet by Gibson's Steakhouse and even a little dance music.

SATURDAY, April 29

Fun Run/Walk
Meet family, fellow alumni, students and faculty at the Lake Shore Track for a relaxed walk or run along Lake Michigan. All fitness levels – everyone is invited!

Yoga (NEW)
Join Northwestern alumna Lisa Faremouth Weber, ‘84, E-RYT, RCYP, RPYT, IAYT, for a very special yoga class. Lisa travels worldwide leading workshops and teacher trainings and is the owner and director of Heaven Meets Earth Yoga Studio in Evanston.

9:00–11:45 am | Medical Alumni Association Board Annual Spring Meeting
By invitation. Medical Alumni Association (MAA) Board members support the mission of the association—to foster a spirit of loyalty, professional interaction, mentoring and philanthropy to ensure the continued success of the medical school as a leader in education, research and patient care—by partnering with the Alumni Relations team, serving as formal representatives of the medical school and sharing their expertise to further medical school projects and programs. This year’s spring meeting will include reports from MAA Board committees (Mentoring, Engagement, Philanthropy and Strategic Initiatives), the alumni association president’s update and other pertinent information.

By invitation. Invitations mailed January 3 to our scholarship donors and the classes of 1952, 1957, 1962, 1967, 1987. Celebrating alumni and friends who have demonstrated a commitment to our current and future medical students through the creation of scholarship funds, this annual luncheon provides a special opportunity for donors to meet the students who are benefitting from their generosity. Questions? 12:00–1:30 pm | A Taste of Chicago Lunch 
If you are not attending the Commitment to Scholarships Luncheon (by invitation), this relaxed lunch, featuring a Chicago food favorite, is a great alternative. This event is another informal gathering offering an opportunity to meet and talk with medical students and network with fellow alumni and their families.

1:00–2:00 pm | Alumni Weekend City Trolley Transport
Enjoy and explore downtown Chicago during the afternoon! Take advantage of our free trolley that will run continuously to and from Method Atrium with stops at Navy Pier, the Art Institute, Millennium Park and the “top” of Michigan Avenue’s Magnificent Mile.  

2:00–3:00 pm | Museum of Contemporary Art Tour (NEW)
Enjoy a private tour, led by an artist guide and designed to navigate the concepts, methods, materials and ideas that contemporary artists incorporate in their work. The tour will emphasize discovery, interpretation and conversation.

2:00–3:30 pm | Explore Chicago!

Chicago Architecture Foundation Trolley Tour (NEW)
See Chicago’s expansive downtown parks, plus emerging residential neighborhoods and commercial developments. Learn how both humans and nature have impacted the development of the city and hear stories about the architects, developers, civic planners and city leaders who played key roles in shaping the city.

360 Chicago and Tilt (NEW)
Located on the 94th floor of the historic John Hancock Center in the heart of downtown Chicago, 360 CHICAGO offers breathtaking views of the city and Lake Michigan from over 1,000 feet above the Magnificent Mile. Explore interactive panoramic touchscreens in seven languages and don’t forget to try TILT—an exhilarating, one-of-a-kind attraction that literally TILTs visitors to a 30° angle over Michigan Avenue.

5:00–7:00 pm | Nathan Smith Davis Society Reception
By invitation. Our annual event for Nathan Smith Davis Society members. Members include alumni, faculty, staff and friends who have made leadership philanthropic contributions during our current and previous fiscal years, as well as alumni who provided significant volunteer service to the school during that time. Reunion Class Dinners
Whether you are returning after 10 years or 60, this will be the perfect finale to your weekend. Join your classmates to celebrate your reunion.

Young Alumni Social (NEW)
All young alumni from the classes of 1998–2016 are invited to mix and mingle at a special young alumni social. Come swap stories, celebrate with classmates and make new friends while enjoying tasty food and drinks. There will be special recognition for our reunion classes of 2002, 2007 and 2012. As always, guests and spouses are welcome.
