About the Program
The Northwestern University Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) prepares students for exciting and rewarding careers combining biomedical investigation and the practice of medicine.
Through an integrated, seven- to eight-year course of study, MSTP students earn a MD-PhD dual degree and develop research and clinical skills. Our graduates have gone on to positions in the nation's top residency and fellowship programs and careers as medical school faculty members, heads of major divisions of the National Institutes of Health, and leaders in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
Congratulations to our latest NRSA F30 awardees Warren McGee and Konrad Sawicki!
Warren is currently a Grad 2 in the laboratory of Dr. Jane Wu in the Neurology Department. Konrad is a Grad 3 student in Dr. Hossein Ardehali's laboratory in the Med - Cardiology Department.
