Northwestern Simulation is a 13,000 square foot state of the art simulation-based educational training facility for healthcare professionals. We opened our doors in 2010 and are located on the Chicago medical campus of the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Our faculty members are internationally recognized in research, development and delivery of innovative education using simulation. Our facility has the latest simulation equipment, ranging from partial task trainers, to virtual reality simulators, hybrid models and full body mannequins. 120,000 minutes of simulation education and training occurred at Northwestern Simulation in FY16.
While Northwestern Simulation's priority is to serve the medical school and Northwestern Medicine community, we have a long history of successful partnerships with a variety of healthcare industry leaders including, but not limited to, medical societies and associations, pharmaceutical and medical device companies, outside medical universities, nursing programs, etc.
