The WildCARD multipurpose identification card is issued to students during Orientation Week. It contains magnetic strips that permit automatic banking, vending machine use, library privileges, key access, and other services on and around the University campuses. Lost or stolen cards can be replaced by the WildCARD Office in Abbott Hall Room 100, 312/503-0548. It is the student's responsibility to carry the WildCARD and hospital IDs at all times.
In addition to the Northwestern University Wildcard, each medical student is issued a Northwestern Memorial Hospital Identification badge at the beginning of each scheduled year. Students are required to exchange their expired ID badge in order to receive a valid ID badge for the current year. If the hospital ID is lost a $25 fee is required to obtain a new one. Please go to the Cashier's office on the 2nd floor of the Feinberg Pavilion to pay for your new badge. You will get a receipt which you need to take to ID Processing also on the 2nd floor in the Feinberg Pavilion to have a new one programmed for you. ID Processing Hour are:
Monday & Wednesday 8:00 am-9:30 am, 10:30 am-12:30 pm, 2:30 pm-4:00 pm
Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 10:30 am-12:30 pm, 2:30 pm-4:00 pm This badge provides each medical student with identification throughout the University and hospital and access to the doors within Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Medical students should display their ID badge on their white coat at all times for identification.
