| J Larry Jameson, MD, PhD is the Lewis Landsberg Dean of Feinberg School of Medicine and Vice President for Medical Affairs. He chairs the Board of Directors of the Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation, which is the main physician practice plan for full-time faculty, and that of the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University, which conducts all residency and fellowship programs. In these capacities he bears overall responsibility for leadership of the School of Medicine’s educational, research, and clinical activities. Members of the Dean’s Executive Administration include:

At the top organizational level the Dean’s Council includes department chairs, center and institute directors, and the executive associate deans. The Dean’s Council considers broad policy issues, oversees the work of the education and research councils and subcommittees, and serves as the formal voice of the School of Medicine in actions such as degree candidate recommendations to the University president. | |
