Individuals interested in applying for residencies or fellowships offered through the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University need to complete the GME Application only if the specific program does not participate in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Sponsored by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), ERAS is a service that transmits residency applications, letters of recommendation, Dean’s letters/MSPE, transcripts, and other supporting credentials from applicants and medical schools to residency programs using the Internet.
