Medical Student ID BadgesAll Medical Students should receive a Wildcard when they start their M1 year. If a student loses their wildcard they will need to go to the Wildcard office in Abbott Hall to pay for and obtain a new one. There is a $25 fee for a new wildcard. In addition, when a new wildcard is obtained, the student will have to get their indala chip activated. Stop by the Augusta Webster Office of Medical Education to have your wildcard activated. If you have questions about your wildcard you can call the Wildcard Office (University Services) 312-503-0548. In addition to the Northwestern University Wildcard, each medical student is issued a Northwestern Memorial Hospital Identification badge at the start of their M1 year. These badges provide each medical student with identification throughout the University and hospital and access to the doors within Northwestern Memorial Hospital. M3 and M4 students are the primary users of the badges for door access in the hospital. Medical students should display their ID badge on their white coat at all times for identification. For Lost or Stolen Badges: If the badge is lost a $25 fee is required to obtain a new one. The student is responsible for obtaining a new badge from the hospital, follow the steps below. Steps in getting new NMH badge: - Go to the Cashier's Office on the Mezzanine Level of the Feinberg Pavilion to pay the $25 replacement fee.
- Bring receipt from Cashier's Office with you to ID Processing also on Mezzanine Level of Feinberg Pavilion during their hours of operation listed below to pick up your badge.
