Financial AidTo ensure your financial aid arrives on time please complete the following steps before you arrive on campus: 1. Review your “To Do” list on CAESAR Determine if you have any outstanding items that need to be complete by checking your "To Do" items. "To Do" items can be reviewed in CAESAR> Financial Services> To Do Item History, and selecting the financial aid year 2011-2012. 2. Complete your MPN (one for Stafford and one for Grad Plus if applicable) and Entrance Counseling at www.studentloans.gov. (New Stafford or PLUS Borrowers at Northwestern Only) First-time borrowers of Federal Direct Stafford Loan and Federal Direct Graduate Plus Loan while attending FSM must complete MPN and online entrance counseling which will explain your loan repayment obligations. 3. Prepare to get your refund If the financial aid applied to your student account exceeds the amount due, you can request a refund on the first day classes. For more information please visit: http://www.feinberg.northwestern.edu/AWOME/FinancialAid/RefundsShortLoan.html. Please note: Student loan funds will not disburse until the first day of class.
