In addition to the Northwestern University Wildcard, each medical student is issued a Northwestern Memorial Hospital Identification badge at the start of their M1 year. If the badge is lost a $25 fee is required to obtain a new one. To see details on the new fee click here.

These badges provide each medical student with identification throughout the University and hospital and access to the doors within Northwestern Memorial Hospital. M3 and M4 students are the primary users of the badges for door access in the hospital.

Medical students should display their ID badge on their white coat at all times for identification.
